Rhonda Vincent and Dolly Parton’s take on the Elton John classic “Please” has reached No. 1 on the Bluegrass Today Chart. The hit song was part of Restoration: The Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin which also included covers from Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus and more.
This accomplishment comes on the heels of an already eventful year for Bluegrass legend Rhonda Vincent. Earlier this year, Vincent won the “Best Bluegrass Album” GRAMMY for her album All The Rage, Vol. One.
Her highly anticipated new album, Live at the Ryman will be released July 13 and features bluegrass mainstays Sonny & Bobby Osborne, Jesse McReynolds, Mac Wiseman and her own daughter Sally Berry.
