Rising bluegrass artist, Joe Hott, will be hosting his second annual Old-Fashioned Christmas event at Old Bethel Church, in Romney, W. Va. on Saturday, Dec 9th at 4 p.m. (EST).
“I’m honored to host this celebration for the second year in a row,” explains Hott. “The one room church built in 1842 gives an authentic, old-fashioned Christmas feel.”
The festivities will include World War II era hymns anchored by the church’s pump organ. Gifts relevant to the time period, such as oranges, pencils and candy canes, will be distributed. The free event is open to all ages and will take place from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. Guests are advised to come prepared for the weather and ready to sing.
