Kelsey Bovey is a Country Pop artist from Bristol, UK who aspires to make music that will empower the lives of young people. Kelsey released her debut EP ‘It’s My Time’ in July 2019, including the debut single ‘Define Me’, which charted top 30 in the UK iTunes singer-songwriter charts.
Kelsey prides herself on writing songs from personal experiences that she hopes others will relate to. Following her debut releases in 2019, Kelsey began working with Scarlet River Management. She was named one of Duggystone Radio’s emerging artists to watch & earlier this year, was nominated for Fair Play Modern Country Female Vocalist & Songwriter of the Year, the awards of which take place on 7th November in The Netherlands.
The brand new single ‘Magnetic’ is due for release on Friday 15th May and has been recorded and produced by Danny McMahon & Andrea Succi at Puzzle Maker Studios.
Speaking of the single, Kelsey explains:
“Magnetic is a spontaneous love song that I feel everyone has experienced once in their life and sharing the reasons behind your feelings for that someone special. This came from a place of uncertainty when you start a relationship and you find the person that is right for you but scared of falling in too deep because you’ve been hurt before”.
