NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Arista Nashville rising artist Robert Counts has released a new version of his debut single “What Do I Know” featuring platinum singer-songwriter HARDY. HARDY, who wrote the original alongside Counts and Jake Mitchell, updates the track with powerhouse lead and background vocals. Listen here.
Since its release in June, “What Do I Know” has received widespread acclaim, with The Boot calling it a “hard-rocking slice of redneck philosophy” and MusicRow praising it as “dirt-road life lessons wrapped in hillbilly-banger production.” Taste of Country commented of its music video, which arrived in November, “the grit of each scene of this new video…matches the song’s doing-things-the-right-way mentality.” The collaboration follows HARDY’s three nominations for the 56th ACM Awards including New Male Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, “What Do I Know” continues its ascent at country radio since hitting airwaves last year, when it made waves as the week’s second most-added song, after Taylor Swift’s “betty.”
