ROD BLACK RELEASES NEW SINGLE
While Enjoying the Journey with “Miles to Go”
Nashville, TN – Country Rock singer/songwriter and Canadian Billboards charter Rod Black recently released his new single, “Miles to Go” to iTunes (download HERE), Spotify and Apple Music.
The gritty and heartfelt single not only showcases Black’s raw “country with a kick” vocals, but also his natural talent to connect with his audience. With lyrics like “This life was made for learnin’ and I still got miles to go,” listeners are bound to relate to the song.
Rod Black teamed up with a powerhouse lineup, including Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean), on “Miles to Go,” along with Jeff Johnson (George Canyon, Wes Mack, Small Town Pistols) and Jim Cooley (Parmalee) on his upcoming new country rock anthem, “Rock This Country,” also hitting iTunes soon.
Former Island/DefJam recording artist Rod Black grew up on the classics – from Southern Rock Pioneers Lynyrd Skynyrd, to the original outlaws: Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Mr. Johnny Cash.
Last year found him hot off the rise of his Top 20 debut hit, “Keeping’ On” (Canada country billboards) and left him with a notch in his belt for his performance at Merritt’s Rockin’ River Fest, joining a legendary lineup of national acts, including Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Big & Rich and Dallas Smith, to name a few.
2016 has seen that momentum channeled into the studio – writing and recording songs for the upcoming EP. Rod’s just released TWO new music videos, “Miles to Go” (Here) & “Go Big or Go Home,” (Here) – and with each receiving over 100K listens in the first week, we know one thing for sure: Rod Black is on the rise!
