Performance Marks Solo Country Debut for Chart-topping Talent
NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville native Ryan Follese (pronounced fall-uh-ZAY) embraced his roots during a performance of his debut Country radio single “Put A Label On It” on NBC’s TODAY yesterday morning (10/24). Watch here. Hosts Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer chatted with the relative newcomer whose stratospheric vocal range has garnered national acclaim. Ryan, who penned each of the six tracks on his self-titled BMLG Records EP, explained that the idea stemmed from a past experience with DTR – defining the relationship. Offering a preview on his Instagram, the official music video is slated to premiere in the coming weeks.
Satiating a taste for Music City’s melding pot of genres, Ryan spent his youth fronting Award-winning band Hot Chelle Rae. He co-wrote their 3X Platinum #1 worldwide smash “Tonight, Tonight” and toured 16 countries, including arena dates with Taylor Swift. Since then, his musical inclinations naturally shifted to the Country music he grew up around with chart-topping songwriter parents Keith (Tim McGraw’s “Something Like That” | Faith Hill’s “The Way You Love Me”) and Adrienne (Lady Antebellum’s “Long Gone” | Martina McBride’s “I Love You”).
Ryan has been on the road visiting Country radio stations nationwide and will join Live Nation’s ‘Ones To Watch’ Tour with headliner LOCASH next month. Visit ryanfollese.com for updates or follow him on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
