Young Guitar Dynamo Set To Appear As Special Guest
on Blues & Bayous Tour Featuring John Fogerty and ZZ Top
Kinder Will Also Perform at Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park 2018 Concert Featuring Eric Clapton, Santana, Steve Winwood and Gary Clark, Jr.
Nashville, TN – Nashville’s southern roots rocker and guitar dynamo Ryan Kinder is gearing up for a summer he won’t forget anytime soon. Kinder is hitting the road with some of music’s most influential icons, many of whom are his biggest musical heroes.
In May, Kinder joins blues and rock legends John Fogerty and ZZ Top on the Blues & Bayous Tour. The 20-city trek launches May 26 in Holmdel, NJ and continues through June with stops in Pensacola, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati and Oklahoma City, to name a few. After a very successful UK tour earlier this spring, Kinder was invited back to be part of the BarclayCard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park 2018 concert on July 8, 2018 in London. The sold-out concert will feature music icons Eric Clapton, Santana, Steve Winwood, Gary Clark, Jr. and many more. Click HERE for more information.
A self-taught guitar player from Alabama, Kinder and his brother covered many ZZ Top and CCR songs in bars along the Southeast, so the Blues & Bayous Tour will be a memorable experience, no doubt. Kinder credits ZZ Top as an eye-opener for him as a guitar player and says Fogerty was one of the first to inadvertently teach him to write a song. Earlier this year, Kinder paid homage to Fogerty when he recorded his own re-imagined version of the timeless classic, “Fortunate Son.” Click HERE to watch the song’s music video filmed as part of YouTube’s Nashville Sessions.
The Hyde Park concert has special meaning to Kinder, as well. Clapton was the first concert Kinder ever attended as a child, and he claims it was the birth of his dream to be on stage singing and playing the rest of his life.
“Honored doesn’t truly express the elation I feel to be able to perform with such rock ‘n’ roll royalty,” says Kinder. “It’s a strange and beautiful hilarity to me to have this amazing opportunity to share the bill with legends I listen to almost daily.”
