Weaver Opened Up PBR’s 25th Anniversary Tour
with a Performance at Madison Square Garden
NASHVILLE, TN — Country music artist and U.S. Army combat veteran Ryan Weaver has announced his 2018 appearance dates as part of the Professional Bull Riders’ 2018 premier series tour. Weaver helped open the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast tour earlier this month in New York City with a performance at Madison Square Garden. Weaver’s next stop is Oklahoma City this weekend at the Express Employment Professionals Invitational at Chesapeake Energy Arena. (All tour dates below)
Weaver was discovered by PBR CEO Sean Gleason while performing at a veteran’s benefit in Colorado in 2016. Weaver, now the official Patriotic Voice of the PBR,debuted in the primetime performance slot at the PBR World Finals, the biggest global stage in professional bull riding, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV this past November.
Partnering with the PBR, a growing sport now competing in five countries, Weaver has released his new EP titled Celebrate America, along with a touching patriotic video for the single “Never Forgotten.” The EP is available on iTunes, Google and other platforms. The inspirational video will be shown at various PBR events and features Weaver family photos and other families grieving fallen heroes, as well as NYPD Detective Rich Miller recounting the emotional behind-the-scenes story of helping raise the American flag amidst the rubble of the downed World Trade Center buildings following the 9/11 attacks. Weaver’s personal story is like no other artist in country music today. The son of a Marine, Weaver is a former Black Hawk Aviator (helicopter pilot) who lost a brother and brother-in-law in service, making them a two-time Gold Star family. He has turned his heartache into a burning passion to succeed as a music artist honoring his fallen brothers, all those who have sacrificed, and a country providing opportunities for everyone.
Weaver is dedicating his 2018 PBR performances to his departed brothers, including songs like “Never Forgotten,” a tribute to his brother, U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Aaron Weaver, who is now enshrined in the Infantry Hall of Fame along with his brother-in-law Randy Billings, one of four family Army Aviators.
PBR will feature Weaver’s songs, written for the sport and its fans, in upcoming events, marketing, digital and social media, and television broadcasts as the combat vet tours with the PBR at their events in 2018.
As the Patriotic Voice of the PBR, Ryan Weaver will make the following tour stops on the PBR’s premier series as the sport celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2018. Ryan Weaver’s tour dates with the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast are:
