Nashville, TN – Sarah Faith, a Michigan-raised, Nashville-based artist/songwriter, has released her second single, “Honest.” The single is the first off of a debut concept album set for release in June. Listen here.
“I wrote ‘Honest’ while laying in the middle of the floor, to tell you the truth,” Sarah commented. She calls the song her first real soul-searching vulnerable song, having written the song entirely on her own. The song is the result of a handful of life events all colliding at once, including the death of three family members within 18 months, getting married, and moving to Nashville, just to name a few. “I was going around trying to act like everything was fine, and it was all a lie.” This song is written for anyone who’s ever felt like life can really crash in on you sometimes.
The single marks the start of a series of planned releases in 2021, including a full-length album – “Lessons From The Archives.” The album was produced by Ben Miller, co-produced by Sarah Faith, in association with Castle Sound Co.
