NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country-rockers Scooter Brown Band celebrated our country by performing for troops at Ft. Campbell on Wednesday, July 4. The performance held special significance for the band as two members served in the Armed Forces. The band also observed a milestone of reaching over 500,000 streams on Spotify for their song “American Son,” the title track of their debut album released in 2017 and featuring country icon Charlie Daniels. “I think after leaving the military you always feel like you need to serve in some form or fashion,” Brown said. “For me, especially being overseas, and being thousands of miles away from your home, anything that can give you a little piece of home was so important to me. I kind of feel like that’s what we do when we come onto a base. We’re kind of bringing a little piece of that back.”
