Despite most of this year being under a pandemic situation, 2020 has picked up where 2019 left off for Scooter Brown Band. Last year saw the boys make their Grand Ole Opry debut and lead singer Scooter Brown took home the 2019 Male Vocalist of the Year at the Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards, which was followed up with the band’s Fan Army Award at this year’s RMCMA’s and setting a record in doing so with the most votes in the history of the fan-voted honor. But such great success at a time of uncertainty helps focus on what is most important. SBB’s latest single “Leave It To A Woman” is a tribute to Brown’s wife for being the woman she is, and at the same time, making him an even better version of himself than he could be on his own. The new single, which is the band’s first release since 2017’s American Son, is available today across all digital platforms.
“This idea definitely came from thinking of my wife,” says Brown. “We’ve been married 15 years and have had our ups and downs. We (men and woman) have our moments that annoy each other but at the end of the day, I know she is what completes me. She makes me want to be a better man, husband and father. You may not always see her but she’s always there for me, to support me and I absolutely would not be where I am today without her.”
