Country Music Entertainer Catches Up with Host Harry Connick Jr.
About His Book, Career, “American Idol” and More
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music entertainer Scotty McCreery will make his debut appearance on the daytime television series “Harry” on Friday, Nov. 18 (visit harrytv.com to find your local channel and airtime). Host Harry Connick Jr. invited the singer/songwriter to appear on the show after getting to know McCreery at several “American Idol” tapings and events through the years.
McCreery performed his Platinum-certified, BMI Award-winning Top 10 hit “See You Tonight” with Connick’s band, bringing a new brass-horn-infused arrangement to the popular song which he co-wrote with Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell. He also talked about his book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream, and shared some of his favorite memories from “American Idol.”
McCreery will perform on the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. on Nov. 22, and will perform as part of the Hollywood Christmas Parade festivities in Hollywood, Calif. on Nov. 27.
