NASHVILLE, Tenn. –  Country music artist Scotty McCreery is gearing up for a busy 2016 CMA Music Festival next week in Nashville.

 

  • On Monday, June 6, the ACM and CMT Award winner will perform as part of the “Seventh Annual Darius & Friends” benefit concert for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which will be held at the Wildhorse Saloon. This is his second consecutive year to be invited to perform at Darius Rucker’s event, which unofficially kicks off CMA Music Festival.
  • On Tuesday, June 7, the former high school baseball athlete will play on Team Opry at the 2016 City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game which begins at3:00 PM at First Tennessee Park.
  • On Thursday, the man voted “Best American Idol” by the readers of The Los Angeles Times will perform at CMA Music Festival on the free Chevrolet Riverfront Stage at 3:45 PM at Riverfront Park in Downtown Nashville.
  • On Friday, June 10, the author of Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream will hold his only book signing of the week at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum at 10:00 AM. Purchase of his book at the Museum store is required for admittance. Click here for more details.
  • Also on Friday, June 10, McCreery will host his Fifth Annual Fan Club Party at the Grand Ole Opry’s Studio A beginning at 2 PM. This is for fan club members only, and they can purchase ticketshere.
  • And later that night on Friday, June 1, he will perform on the Grand Ole Opry.

Earlier this week on Memorial Day, McCreery appeared on WNYW-TV’s “Good Day New York” to discuss his new book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream.  You can watch the interview, which aired in the New York City-area, here.

Last week, the singer/songwriter received his first Music Row No.1 Challenge Coin for writing a song (“See You Tonight”) that topped the Music Row Country Breakout Chart. McCreery also visited the nationally-syndicated radio shows “America’s Morning Show” with Blair Garner, Kelly Ford and Chuck Wicks as well as “Nashville Nights Live with Shawn Parr.”
