“Country Music’s Hottest Bachelor” Will Hold Book Signings in 14 Cities During First Two Weeks of May
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Singer, songwriter, and now, author Scotty McCreery will release his first book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream, and launch his book signing tour on Tuesday, May 3. During the first two weeks of May, the ACM and CMT Award winner will hold book signings at bookstores and venues in 14 cities. The book signing tour will begin in Ridgewood, New Jersey on release day and end in his hometown of Garner, North Carolina on May 14. See the bottom of this release for dates, locations and times.
McCreery envisions the book as a travelogue and takes the reader on a journey through his life, sharing stories such as his life-altering discovery of Elvis Presley at age five, auditioning for and ultimately winning “American Idol” season 10, and embarking on the country music career he had always dreamed about. He also reveals how he had to grow up quickly when he was thrust into the adult world at age 17, the way he balanced his senior year of high school and college experience with his active recording and touring career, and how he put life into perspective after being robbed at gunpoint. Throughout the book, he writes of how his faith, family and friends have kept him grounded and normal in the midst of a life in the entertainment business.
On May 3, McCreery will perform live on NBC’s“Today” during the 10-11:00 AM hour. The next day, May 4, the country music sensation will be interviewed live on “FOX & Friends” on the FOX News Channel. That same day, New York City-area viewers can also watch him being interviewed on WNYW-TV’s“Good Day New York.”
Before the book signing tour begins, McCreery will be featured on the cover of American Profile this weekend. The national weekly magazine will circulate within community newspapers nationwide betweenApril 29-May 3. In addition, the man recently named “Country Music’s Hottest Bachelor” will be a presenter on FOX’s “American Country Countdown Awards”on Sunday, May 1.

Very excited to read Scotty’s “travelogue”. I have been a fan since his audition on American Idol 5 years ago. Love how he has stayed true to himself, his faith, his family/friends, and his fans.
I, also, have been a huge fan of Scotty’s since I first heard that voice during his audition for American Idol. Scotty’s fans are very dedicated and extremely proud of him for all his efforts to stay true to how he was raised. I am sure holding strong to his faith was not always the easiest path to take. Scotty is an amazing person! I have been a diehard fan since he took my breath away at his Idol audition!
