NAMED A 2021 PANDORA COUNTRY ARTIST TO WATCH

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Big Loud riser Sean Stemaly is dialing up the heartbreak with brand-new song “Hello, You Up” available everywhere now.

Written by John Byron and Jamie Moore, the late-night buzzer encapsulates dating in the 21st century, from digitized breakups to “hello, you up” make up texts after a night out at the bar. Brought to life by Stemaly’s “throwback country sound” (Country Now) and ACM Producer of the Year nominee Joey Moi’s signature production, the heart aching, bottom-of-the-bottle anthem centers itself on an intoxicating hook and an all-too-relatable premise, debuting at #1 on the iTunes Country Songs chart.

“‘Hello, You Up’ is one of those songs you hear and actually feel,” Stemaly shares. “I’ve been through it and millions of other people have too. We all have a hard time letting go sometimes when it comes to relationships; that’s why I cut this song. I can feel it when I play it. It’s got a contagious melody that kind of gets your mind off the fact that it’s a sad song, and I love that. My whole team killed it on this one and I can’t wait for the world to hear it!”

Doubling down, the music video for “Hello, You Up” also dropped yesterday in celebration of the new release. Directed by Mason Dixon and shot in Nashville, the track’s neon-lit clip finds Stemaly in a local dive, drinking his split-up woes away after a text leaves him high and dry. One phone call and a series of unfortunate events later, the on-the-rise heartthrob winds up back where he hoped to be with his ex – always just a “hello, you up, do you want to come over away.”
