GLAAD launched a video today to shed light on the importance of music and its relationship within the LGBTQ community. Featured in the short film are Justin Tranter, pop songwriter for megastars such as Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, and Justin Bieber, RuPaul and highly acclaimed country songwriter Shane McAnally, as well as members of the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles.
Each individual interviewed explains how and why music has been so important in their lives, including McAnally who acknowledged that “It’s hard to pinpoint one moment that saved me, because I feel like music saved by life.”
