Label Expands Operations with New Office in Dallas, Staff Hirings and Promotions
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Silverado Records’ “against the grain approach” (Billboard) is more evident than ever as the independent country music label announces the launch of its first imprint label, Silverado Texas, and promotes VP/A&R Aaron Chesling to President of Silverado Records.
“We have a passion for country music, and recognize the incredible amount of talent and artistry that exists in Texas,” said Silverado Records CEO Scott Thomas. “I am beyond excited to begin to connect Texas and Nashville and continue to showcase great country music to the world.”
Already establishing relationships in their new home, Brendon Anthony, Director, Texas Music Office, Office of the Governor has praised the label for investing in Texas musicians and creators, “We at the Texas Music Office are very pleased to welcome the Silverado Records team to Texas. One of our many goals is to work to bridge the gap between Texas and nationwide industry centers like Nashville and to provide Texan creators with the tools they need to create sustainable careers in the music business. By creating Silverado Texas, Scott Thomas and his team have made a real investment in our local industry. “

Chesling will oversee all of the label’s Nashville operations. “Aaron is a dedicated, passionate professional who has been involved in nearly every aspect of Silverado’s growth to date.
