Nashville, Tenn. – Emerging artist Madelyn Rose is kicking off a momentous year with the release of her debut single, “Taillights Fade.” At just 15 years old, the gifted singer-songwriter is marking her arrival in the genre with an empowering twist on a classic heartbreak tale. Listen to “Taillights Fade” now.
“Releasing “Taillights Fade” definitely feels surreal, watching this song come to life has been so cool,” Madelyn says. “I love how we turned the taillights fading idea into a positive thing for the singer and listener! Relationships can be toxic, and knowing that you can move on, and leave that toxic relationship is the motivation I needed to release this song. I hope fans gain a sense of confidence from my music!”
Hailing from a small town in central New York, Madelyn Rose discovered her love of music via a garage sale keyboard at the age of four. Two years later, she began dabbling in karaoke, singing along with a small guitar amp and microphone she received for her birthday, then uploading the videos to YouTube. Now materializing her dreams, the 15-year-old, who signed with Nashville-based Vere Records and Richard Ellis of Gold Mountain Entertainment for management last year, has spent the better part of her year in Nashville writing and recording with some of Music City’s finest. Drawing inspiration from pop and country powerhouses such as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and Christina Aguilera, Madelyn creates original music that her listeners can relate to wholeheartedly, with no sugar coating.
Balancing her burgeoning career with full-time schooling, Madelyn’s passion for her craft is evident in her hard work, determination and life-long love of music. With a top team in place and an impressive catalog of songs starting to compile, Madelyn is primed to make “Taillights Fade” the launching point for a major recording career.
