Nashville, Tennessee – Smith & Wesley brothers Scott and Todd Smith were first introduced to the amazing work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® by their father, who was an avid supporter of the world-renowned hospital. To carry on that support, the powerhouse duo has committed to donate 100% of the net proceeds from the digital sale of their new “Superman For A Day” single to St. Jude, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
“This is a great way to honor our parents and help continue the amazing work of St. Jude,” said Smith & Wesley. “Everyone has been touched by cancer, and too many people have connections to childhood cancer. Danny Thomas said ‘no child should die in the dawn of life,’ and if we raise $100 or $100,000, we know the money will go to help a wonderful cause…we want these kids to be ‘superman for a day!'”
Smith & Wesley and Dream Walkin’ Records will donate 100% of the net proceeds from “Superman For A Day” – no less than $0.69 from the purchase price of each digital download from services such as iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon Music and others – to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® through January 31, 2018. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
A music video for “Superman For A Day” is in the works and will be hitting the airwaves in the coming weeks. The clip will follow the music video for their Top 25 single “The Little Things,” which has surpassed 1,200,000 views on their Facebook page.
“Superman For A Day” and “The Little Things” will be included on Smith & Wesley’s upcoming second album and follow Top 30 singles “Sweet Life” and “You’re the One” from their Choices & Chances album.
