Nashville, TN — SNG Music has added multi-talented songwriters Carson Chamberlain and Wyatt McCubbin to its ever-growing talent roster. The two hit-makers join Mark Nesler, Marty Dodson, Zarni DeVette, Gary Reamey and Steve Leslie, also signed to SNG Music.
“Carson and Wyatt are both very talented professionals and a great fit with our other SNG songwriters,” says the company’s Managing Partner Gary Reamey.
Carson Chamberlain’s musical background covers stints as a musician, bandleader, tour manager, and VP of A&R for Mercury Nashville, so it comes as no surprise that his current career focus as a songwriter and producer have been nothing but successful. He has burned up the country charts with hits including Alan Jackson’s “Love’s Got a Hold on You,” “Everything I Love” and “Between the Devil and Me,” George Strait’s “The Best Day” and Billy Currington’s “Walk a Little Straighter” and “I Got a Feelin’.” Other artists who have cut Chamberlain’s songs include Jamey Johnson, William Michael Morgan, Craig Campbell, Sammy Kershaw, Hank Williams, Jr., John Michael Montgomery, Billy Ray Cyrus, Don Williams, Jeff Bates, Chad Brock and Ronnie Milsap. Chamberlain’s producing credits include projects for Easton Corbin, Mark Wills, and Billy Currington, among others.
Twenty-two year old Wyatt McCubbin has been traveling to Music City since 2013 after graduating high school in Selma, Ohio. He has been working with a solid writing team while continuing to perform throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, where he has shared the stage with legends such as the late Merle Haggard and George Jones, as well as Charlie Daniels, Dwight Yoakam, Easton Corbin, The Kentucky Headhunters and Josh Turner. His most recent songwriting credit comes as the title track of Jake Worthington’s latest EP, Hell of a Highway. McCubbin is gearing up to record his debut album, produced by Carson Chamberlain, later this year.
SNG’s writers have had dozens of hits recorded by some of country’s biggest stars, including Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, George Strait, Kenny Rogers, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams, Jr., Gary Allan, Billy Currington and Rascal Flatts, to name a few.
“I’m honored to be associated with this great group of SNG songwriters and professionals,” adds Reamey. “There have been more than 1000 songs written with multiple cuts in three short years, and we’re just getting started!”
