NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sony Music Nashville and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® have together donated more than 15,000 meals to medical staff on the frontlines of COVID-19 through the brand’s ‘There’s Comfort in Giving’ program, far surpassing their initial goal of 10,000 meals. Over the past three weeks, for every Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® $10 e-gift card purchased via crackerbarrel.com, Cracker Barrel donated one additional meal to healthcare professionals as a “thank you” for their tireless efforts in the face of the pandemic.
Sony Music Nashville artists Adam Doleac, Chris Young, Jameson Rodgers, Matt Stell, Mitchell Tenpenny, Niko Moon, Rachel Wammack, Robert Counts, Seaforth and The Sisterhood Band hosted live performances on their social channels to offer comfort and promote participation in the meal donation campaign. Each Sony Music Nashville artist selected their hospital of choice that holds special meaning to them to receive the meal donations on behalf of Cracker Barrel. See a program recap here.
Chris Young kicked-off the program with a live performance via Facebook on April 24, followed by performances and/or social posts from other Sony Music Nashville artists— altogether, the livestreams amassed 1.6 million views and can be viewed here.
