DEBUT EP SET FOR APRIL 6 RELEASE DATE

NASHVILLE, TN – Sony Music Nashville signs singer-songwriter Rachel Wammack to its RCA Nashville imprint.

The 23-year old native from Muscle Shoals, Alabama surprised members of the Country music industry at Tuesday evening’s Sony Music Nashville CRS Guitar Pull at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The star-studded evening started off with all the guests witnessing the signing of RCA Nashville’s newest artist Rachel Wammack to a long-term recording deal with Sony Music Nashville.

Rachel Wammack (pronounced wa-mack) wrote her first song at age 12 and five years later, at age 17, she was discovered by Sony Music Nashville in her hometown of Muscle Shoals. In the years that followed, Wammack honed her craft as a singer-songwriter, while also attending the University of North Alabama. Her path eventually lead Wammack to signing her full recording contract last night in front of her new label and country music industry representatives from across the globe.

Wammack, who has amassed an early fan base in Nashville and her hometown of Muscle Shoals, is eager to get music out; giving music fans a taste of what she has up her sleeves. On April 6th Wammack will make her label debut with the release of her forthcoming EP via RCA Records Nashville.
