Nashville, TN – Adam Wood has signed to Spirit Music Nashville and country music superstar Lee Brice’s Pump House Music. Adam is a multi-talented songwriter/producer/singer/musician who has had cuts by many artists including Lee Brice, Scotty McCreery, Elvie Shane, Trace Adkins and Tyler Braden.

Adam Wood is a songwriter and producer, best known for his strong lyrical and melodic sense. He was raised in Colbert Heights, Alabama near the musically rich Muscle Shoals area, and graduated from the University of North Alabama with a with a degree in Commercial Music. In 2004, he moved to Nashville to devote his work full time to songwriting and producing. Adam has since had songs recorded by Lee Brice, Trace Adkins, Scotty McCreery, Lonestar, Tyler Braden, Delta Rae, Smithfield, and many more. Notable cuts include “More Beer” and the title track “Hey World’ from Lee Brice’s 2020 record; “Hey Whiskey” by the duo Smithfield; and Tyler Braden’s single “Try Losing One” which reached the top spot on Sirius/XM the Highway’s Top Thirty Countdown.

2022 has marked a banner year for Spirit Music Nashville. In September of this year, Spirit Music Group announced the appointment of Frank Rogers to Chief Creative Officer. Over the past year, 70% of Spirit Music Nashville’s current writer roster has had at least one charted single. This includes nine #1 singles, ten Top 10 singles, and 11 Top 30 songs in 2021 as well as ACM Single of the Year “I Hope You’re Happy Now” – Carly Pearce and Lee Brice (via Jonathan Singleton) and Album of the Year Starting Over by Chris Stapleton.
