“‘Work for Shoes’ is a really fun and upbeat song, so Stephanie and I both knew there were a lot of comical things we could incorporate into the video! We wanted to make it relatable to both sides, whether you are obsessed with shoes or annoyed that your partner is,” shared Devon Lancaster, music video director. “It was hilarious to watch Stephanie take on this shoe crazy persona…although I’m not sure she was acting!”
“My hope is that everyone watching this music video will get a good laugh! Growing up, I was very involved in musical theater, and I was always known for playing the spunky, eccentric roles. So, naturally, I fully embraced this ‘shoeaholic’ character. This also gave me a great excuse to add a few more pairs of shoes to my closet,” Stephanie laughs. “I’m very grateful to JustFab for sending some awesome shoes to showcase in the video, and I loved collaborating with trendy local businesses Inspired Closets and Boutique MMM as filming locations!”
