Nashville, TN — If it were being filmed for a movie, the release of Stephanie Urbina Jones’ Shaman Heart—The Bittersweet Beautiful Ride on November 24 would be heralded by bright lights and trumpets. It’s that big an event, particularly to the multitude of fans who cherish Stephanie not simply as an entertainer but as a spiritual guide as well.
Entirely written or co-written by Stephanie, the 15 track album is, by turns, powerful, thought-provoking, emotionally potent, sometimes joyful, but ultimately reassuring. It has the kind of lyrics you keep mulling over to yourself for their poetry and common sense truths. Stephanie was inspired to deliver this music now in order to speak to these tumultous times in which we’re living, offering a prayer in the dark through her music on this often times bittersweet, beautiful ride.
