NASHVILLE, TN — A man credited with making one of the most important records out of Nashville and a “good ole boy” television icon with a string of country music hits are the latest surprise guests added to this year’s Country With Heart benefit show for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The 8th annual event presented by Workout Anytime 24/7 welcomes multi-award winning, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band founder, John McEuen and multi-talented actor, movie maker, songwriter/recording artist John Schneider to the stellar lineup of Hall of Fame, Grand Ole Opry, Grammy Award Winning and Hollywood stars.
The fan fun and music are scheduled during CMA Fest week, on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee at the long-running Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theatre on Music Valley Drive from 5p.m. to 9p.m.
“We are hoping to break our fundraising record for all of the kids at St. Jude. And each of these celebrities has such big heart for these families. We are all looking forward to a night of music and friendship with fans from around the world, just the way fan fair was meant to be,” shares show host and organizer, singer/songwriter Bobby Marquez.
The show will be a memorable night featuring an intimate, songwriter style show with the artists getting up close and personal with fans as they share the stories behind the music. John Berry, Johnny Rodriguez, Dennis Quaid, Rex Allen Jr., Barbara Fairchild and Baillie and The Boys will all be performing their songs. Plus, Grammy Award winning Riders in the Sky will entertain. Add to the music, there will be a full homemade buffet available and several one-of-a-kind celebrity auction items.
“And there will be more surprises. This is a celebration of the research and the cures St. Jude Children’s Research has already found and WILL find. We can all do this together!” states Marquez.
Tickets are available online at Country With Heart Tickets on www.eventbrite.com for $35. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event for $40. Buffet tickets and drinks can be purchased separately. And donations will be excepted both online and at the event.
The Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theatre has free parking at it’s Music Valley location across the parking lot from the famed Troubadour Theatre and directly across the street from the Grand Ole Opry House.
All proceeds from Country With Heart will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Their current campaign is “Love Music. Stop Cancer.” St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
