Tenille Arts Garners Six SCMA Nominations

Nashville, Tennessee – Reviver Records artist Tenille Arts took home four awards from the Saskatchewan Country Music Association last year, and she is tied for the most nominations at six for the 30th annual awards celebration next month. Nods this year include “Female Artist of the Year,” “Interactive Artist of the Year,” “Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year,” “Single of the Year” and “Songwriter of the Year” for her Canadian single “Mad Crazy Love.” She is also nominated in the “Video of the Year” category for U.S. single “I Hate This,” which she performed on The Bachelor in January. The Awards will be presented in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on April 14, 2019.

“To all the Saskatchewan Country Music Association members, thank you so much for getting me to the final ballot,” said Tenille, who hails from Weyburn, Saskatchewan. “Can’t wait to see you in April at the #SCMAs!”

Tenille hit the road opening for Dylan Scott (pictured at left) in Lynchburg and Richmond Virginia last weekend and the previous week with William Michael Morgan in Ft. Collins, Denver, Colorado Springs and Albuquerque. During a recent round performing at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, a storm caused a power outage. “We played in the dark with no mics,” said Tenille. “It was magical!”

Her “I Hate This” single continues to gain momentum after hitting the #1 spot on the Radio Disney Country Top 50 chart and reaching #1 on both the U.S. and Canadian iTunes Country Charts and #9 U.S. iTunes all-genre following The Bachelor performance. Tenille made her first appearance on the top-rated ABC show a year ago, which led to her signing with Reviver Records.
