True to his country roots, Terry McBride has released a new single that is sure to make you want to hit the dance floor, or at least tap your toe while you sing along. “Callin’ All Hearts” has a rhythmic beat that just won’t let you sit still.
Written alongside one of Nashville’s best Luke Laird, who also produced the track, “Callin’ All Hearts” brings back that 90s country sound with guitar and fiddle while the lyrics provide a visual story of heartbreak caused by a woman so beautiful that she turns every guy’s head in a bar. A country version of Hall & Oates’ “Maneater,” McBride warns other males in the bar who may be thinking of asking her to dance that she will dance all over your heart:
Callin’ all hearts
Be on the lookout for
She’s five foot two with baby blues out on that dance floor
When it comes to love she’ll steal ya blind
Ah lookin’ that good oughta be a crime
She’s a wanted woman by every guy at the bar
Callin’ all hearts
