– Put Your Smile On Premiering at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles –
Nashville, Tenn. – Dazzling country sibling group The Runaway Hamsters (TRHibe) are all smiles with the release of their official music video for Put Your Smile On. This video is premiering today at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), a pediatric hospital treating children.
This video made its world premiere this morning at 7:30AM PST across the CHLA blog, social media platforms and website. You can view this video by going to https://www.chla.org/blog/
This partnership was a clear choice for them given their involvement with CHLA for several years. “I have loved being a patient of Dr. Borchert and I’m grateful for his work within The Vision Center,” says Abby Keen of The Runaway Hamsters. This effervescent group and their fans have donated instruments and funds to help the children and doctors at CHLA, where The Runaway Hamsters are official Jr. Ambassadors. The band has performed numerous times in the hospital and been the featured artist at Dreamnight for CHLA which was held at the LA Zoo. Older sibling Isabella Keen commented, “We have all been inspired by this hospital and we’re so excited to have them involved. We can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks.”
This video was shot in California and directed by award-winning videographer Roman White (Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, etc). White directed their prior release A Little Country, which made its world premiere on Country Rebel and its broadcast debut on Great American Country (GAC). Since then, it has been picked up on networks including Blue Highways, Country Fix, The Country Network, The Heartland affiliates, among others. “Filming Put Your Smile On was so much fun with the green screen and shooting in LA,” said Isabella Keen. “It was a different experience for sure, but we absolutely loved it.”
This catchy, fun tune was co-written by them and their producer, Grammy-nominated Kent Wells (Dolly Parton). This song is off their latest EP A Little Country, which is available on their website and on all digital platforms.
Even with the official release of this music video and a brand-new single called GO! that was just released, there is no stopping this TRHibe. They recently wrapped up a successful CMA Music Festival with performances on various stages in downtown Nashville and several media interviews throughout the 4-day festival, which also included a return visit to the home of the Grand Ole Opry radio station WSM-AM. They are set to perform this Saturday at the 9th Annual Boise Music Festival and are already planning a new music video for GO! along with the release of their upcoming EP set for later this year.
