The “Born Entertainer” (Lincoln Journal Star) Set to Bring
High Energy Show to Canada in 2019
NASHVILLE, TN – Current multi-CMA nominee Thomas Rhett concluded his 2018 LIFE CHANGES TOUR over the weekend with a “high-energy” (OC Register) string of capacity shows in Anaheim, Los Angeles and Sacramento. Launching the fall tour leg in September with special guests Brett Young and Midland, Thomas Rhett drew in thousands of fans that were “deafeningly appreciative of his country fusion sound, with its rock ‘n’ roll, hip-pop, pop and R&B influences” (The Oklahoman).
“I can’t even imagine having more fun than I did on tour this year,” Thomas Rhett said. “I’ve had some of the most memorable nights of my career performing at incredible venues for the greatest fans in the world. And to get to do it all alongside talented friends like Brett Young and Midland made it a total blast.”
With heightened production and electric energy, the “powerful performer” (Providence Journal) put on a dynamic live show, delivering upbeat fan favorites including his rapidly-rising current single “Sixteen.” Fans couldn’t help but get “swept up in the fun” (Lexington Herald Leader) as Thomas Rhett fluidly moved between the “crowd screaming, dancing and singing along while he tore around the stage” (Lincoln-Journal Star) to slowing things down for a few stripped-down, acoustic songs, shrinking high-capacity arenas to create a special moment with fans, highlighting his impressive “display of all around-entertainment” (
“From the way he dodges plumes of smoke while dancing backward across the stage to the smooth move he uses to flip his guitar from his back and into his hands, it’s clear: Thomas Rhett has been training his whole life for this. The country chart-topper looked like the headlining musician equivalent of Michael Phelps diving into a pool or Serena Williams smashing the fuzz off a tennis ball when he took the stage.” – The Oklahoman
“Whatever sound he offered, Thomas Rhett proved a skilled musician and showman, working the crowd as he delivered solid performances.” – Providence Journal
“He easily commanded the stage.” – Arkansas Times
“Few artists working today can make a crowd feel the love like Thomas Rhett. There’s a palpable connection between the country music superstar and his fans, something that was on full display [on his] Life Changes Tour… – MLIVE
“Thomas Rhett himself is a fine showman, adept at engaging a crowd.” – Houston Chronicle
“Thomas Rhett, who has blossomed as a performer…has fearlessly come into his own.” – Tennessean
“He adroitly worked the stage.” – Atlanta Journal-Constitution
