NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country singer and songwriter, Timmy Brown, has a brand new single, “Hey There Heartbreak” out today! Written alongside Alec MacGillivray, this song was written based on a true story about when Timmy was hanging out at his favorite bar in Nashville and his ex-girlfriend, who lives in New England, unexpectedly showed up. He brings the lyrics to life as he goes on to express his desire to seek closure since the surprise encounter floods him with memories from their relationship. “Is this really over
Cause I haven’t told ya
The things on my mind
If I tell you tonight
Would you still come over
Do we need that closure
Honey shoot me straight
Are we just here to say
Hey there heartbreak.”

“Taking this true story that happened to me and putting into it song ultimately helped me get over the breakup, and that’s really why I love songwriting so much,” says Timmy.

Originally from Massachusetts, Timmy Brown developed his love for country music at a young age knowing eventually he wanted to end up in Nashville. MusicRow said, “Brown is a country-music New Englander with a warm, jaunty, earnest, enormously likable delivery.”
