Trace Adkins Brings a Whirlwind Good Time in New Lyric Video for “LIT”

Nashville, TN – Wheelhouse Records has rolled out Trace Adkins’ lyric video for “Lit” on VEVO yesterday as proof that summer ain’t over just yet.

As the nights cool, this video is a flashback to the carnival rides, fun games and fair food of the county fair as the up-tempo single counts down the great things in life that get you fired up.

In the song, Granny’s playin’ Bingo, Grandpa’s fishin’ with dynamite, there’s “Sunday morning brimstone from a Pentecostal pastor,” and, “Keith Richards stoned on Rock ‘n Roll tearin’ up that Telecaster.” But nothing revs up this cowboy more than his girl as he croons, “slide on over, move a little closer with that four-alarm, fire-engine-red on your lips. So hot, you got me smokin’, girl you got it goin’ on, you’re the only one with the kiss that gets me lit.”

“Lit” was written by Mickey Jack Cones, Monty Criswell and Derek George and will appear on his upcoming album with Wheelhouse Records (BBR Music Group) – release date to be announced.

“Lit” is now available at iTunes and all other digital retailers and streaming partners: http://geni.us/getlit
