The song was written by Patrick Jason Matthews and Jim Collins, produced by Grammy winning songwriter Kerry Kurt Phillips (George Jones, Joe Diffie and Tim McGraw) and recorded at County Q Productions. “It’s Gettin’ There” is a superbly written song with a beautiful melody that permeates throughout. The intro is immediately identifiable to the listener, and resembles so many classic songs from the 90s. The song is reminiscent of the timeless George Strait hits.
“This song really fit my voice, and it was comfortable for me to render.
