Beathard Spent Time Before The Final Iowa City Show On The Sideline Cheering On
His Brother’s Hawkeyes To A Nail-Biting Win
Nashville, TN – Closing in on a year stacked with many milestones, singer/songwriter Tucker Beathard wrapped his ROCK ON COLLEGE TOUR this past weekend playing to a rowdy sold-out crowd in Iowa City, IA on Saturday night (11/12). With a family history bonded in football, the tour saw Beathard “ignite crowds up like no other” (Sounds Like Nashville) stopping in “Big Ten Conference” college towns with special guest Aubrie Sellers.
Earlier in the day, Beathard watched his brother CJ quarterback the Hawkeyes to a win against Michigan and he also spent time with CMA EDU students, giving them an inside look at life on the road. With a midnight set time, Beathard arrived full of adrenaline, and delivered a raucous set to the capacity crowd in a town that he considers a second home, even welcoming his brother and some enthusiastic fans up on stage for an unforgettable closing song.
Making waves with his rebellious and unique style of country music, Beathard’s fearless new single “Momma And Jesus” debuted at country radio last week as most added in the format. The track is taken from his recently released FIGHT LIKE HELL EP, that also includes his debut Top 5 single and summer anthem, “Rock On.” A determined road warrior, Beathard is closing in on almost 200 performances this year and is currently gearing up to return to Europe for the second time, for headlining dates beginning in Dublin, IE on 12/3.
