NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many artists are no stranger to their shows being canceled or postponed. Several musicians have switched to online Livestream performances instead, and recently Urban Country Jam has also followed suit.
Loaded Gun Productions is the producer and promoter of “Urban Country Jam” which are live mini-festival concert events created to support and showcase up-and-coming country music artists. Every Urban Country Jam concert features 3 to 4 different emerging artists, each with significant credits playing shows as support for major national headliners and/or as featured performers. A series of live Urban Country Jam concert events were planned for several major cities around the U.S., in 2020 and 2021, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, these events have bee canceled.
Because of this, Loaded Gun Productions is presenting a series of Urban Country Jam concert events via Livestream on social media outlets and is seeking donations from music fans to support artists who have no organized opportunities to perform and reach an audience during these unprecedented times.
Loaded Gun Productions has already put on two Livestream concerts, one in May and the most recent in June. These live streams reached over 15,000 views each, and significant donations from the viewers of the concerts are helping to keep artists’ careers and livelihoods afloat during this crisis.
Any contribution to these artists, small or large, will help the artists performing to continue to do what they love and will help to continue these live-streamed Urban Country Jam concerts. In these terribly uncertain times, artists must be supported – not just financially but also with organized opportunities to reach an audience. Urban Country Jam makes that happen for these up and coming artists, and becoming an Urban Country Jam contributor can help them to further their journeys as musicians.
