“Raise your glass as we raise the roof and be a good bar attender
and I can show you how”
That’s just what Texas Country artist Jeff Clayborn does in his current single “Good Bar Attender.” This fun, sing-along tune, which is currently making its way up the Texas Country Radio Charts, is sure to bring a good time to any bar or party.
And if there was any doubt, roll the video!
Mirroring a classic western scene, the camera zooms in on Clayborn’s boots as he walks up to the saloon doors, followed by the profile of his hat peering above as he swings the doors open. He greets the bartender’s “Evenin’ JC!” with a tip of his hat and walks up to the stage, ready to entertain all the good bar attenders that are about to walk in. Set at The River Ranch Stockyards in Fort Worth, TX, the video in-itself is a live concert, as fans were invited to participate in the filming.
JC sings as clever references to the lyrics are shown throughout the bar (for example,”Are you looking for direction?” is followed by a cut-away to a River Ranch Stockyard board with “You R Here” written on it). It quickly becomes obvious that he’s addressing someone in particular, as the viewer sees comedian, actor, and TV host Chad Prather enter the bar.
