NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Show Dog Nashville duo Waterloo Revival aren’t resting during this worldwide pause, they’re bringing music lovers “Something You Ain’t Ever Had.” Their new single has gained more than 300,000 streams since its launch two weeks ago and is available now here. The song and the accompanying lyric video premiered on The Boot, and the single will impact at radio on June 1.
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 13, the country music duo is set to perform a virtual Facebook concert hosted by Wrangler. Starting at 6:00 p.m. central, fans can watch the live acoustic concert with Waterloo Revival performing the new single with their other hits including “Hit The Road” and “Slice of Heaven.” Multi-platinum singer, songwriter Clay Walker and 10-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally will also be performing sets. “Something You Ain’t Ever Had” promises its intended a profound love, instead of the shallow affections of the man who’s “got the look, yeah, he’s got the style.” Declaring …
What you need is a brand new feelin’
What you need is a brand new man
What you need is probably something you ain’t ever had
Produced by Lalo Guzman and executive produced by Arturo Buenahora, Jr. the track was written by Heath Warren, Brendan Cooney and Rob Grimaldi. Its power ballad charms immediately attracted the attention of the duo’s George Birge and Cody Cooper.
“‘Something You Ain’t Ever Had’ is a song that jumped off the page to us right away,” says Birge. “We have always prided ourselves on the energy in our live set, and we feel like this song captures that coming out of the speakers. From the empowering message, to the captivating sound, we cannot wait to get this song out to the world and into our live show!”
As with all touring, however, Waterloo Revival’s shows are on hold, but that’s not stopping their preparation – documented in a new behind-the-scenes video. Fans will be pleased to know they’re getting plenty of rest, eating well(ish), exercising, practicing long-haul endurance and interacting in-person with at least one (fantastically adorable) fan.
