WEDNESDAY SHOWS RETURN NEXT MONTH WITH FIRST-EVER FALL RUN
NASHVILLE, Tenn. –– The Grand Ole Opry® presented by Humana® concluded its summer run of Wednesday night performances last night with appearances by Bill Anderson, Luke Combs, Easton Corbin, Will Hoge, The Oak Ridge Boys, Michael Ray, and Jeannie Seely, with the Oaks leading the audience and other artists from the show in a rendition of “Amazing Grace” in honor of the group’s fellow Country Music Hall of Famer Glen Campbell.
Wednesday shows are taking only a short break, however, as the Opry is adding a fall run of Wednesdayshows for the first time ever. Among those already scheduled for dates in the series running September 13–27 include Darius Rucker, who will mark five years as an official Opry member during an Opry visit September 20. Helping round out the series on September 27 will be Chris Janson, whose sophomore album Everybody is set for release the week prior.
Tickets for the newly-added Wednesday shows go on sale Friday, August 11, at noon on opry.com and via (800) SEE-OPRY. Packages including both tickets to the September 27th show and Janson’s upcoming album will also be available.
Among other artists scheduled for upcoming Opry appearances are Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels Band, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, Crystal Gayle, Vince Gill, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, Reba McEntire, Jon Pardi, Rascal Flatts, Marty Stuart, Tanya Tucker, and Chris Young.
