Giving us a perspective into their feelings and emotions, “Seventeen” is an introspective journey. On one hand, we have all the pressures and responsibilities of adulthood coming at us at a rapid pace. At the same time, we just want to enjoy our youth and be carefree for this brief moment in time before it escapes us, says Wild Fire. Taking more time to come of age, the sisters express the importance of self-realization and taking time to be in the moment.
Wild Fire says, “‘Seventeen’ is about knowing who you are one minute, and doubting yourself the next. It is about being bold, brave, and fearless at times, and other times being afraid of making the wrong decisions that will lead to failure.” Reflecting on their teenage years or simply in the process of getting older, Wild Fire enlightens us about growing up and that adolescence never really ends.
The Houston, Texas-based artists received early insight into life’s lessons and continue to channel the optimism of a youth audience with their unique pop-country sound.
