With a fluid vocal flow, indie-rock instincts and a hard-working ethos handed down like his uncle’s overalls, Sony Music Nashville artist Zach John King is a master craftsman of progressive country music, instinctively drawn to the creative cutting edge. Raised in Fayetteville, Georgia, the singer-songwriter’s unique toolkit includes inspiration from across the musical spectrum, helping shape a bold new sound by welding of-the-moment sonics tocountry’s storytelling core, with rhythmic rhymes and swirling atmospherics. After moving to Nashville in 2021, a series of independent releases led to the confessional 2024 breakout, “Wannabe Cowboy,” then acclaimed 2025 EP, Slow Down, and an early-2026 epiphany. Featuring an intricately-laced vocal flow, built line-by-line with exacting precision, “Get to Drinkin’” fused shimmering modern country with an indie-pop pulse, climbing its way into Country radio’s Top 20 with 51 million streams and counting. After making his Grand Ole Opry debut and earning accolades from MusicRow Magazine, Country Now, Holler, Country Swag, and Billboard, his debut album, I’m What You Get, shows the blueprint of King’s style. Steel-toed country grit collides with sleek, indie rock refinement, as 20 co-writes rush to the boundaries of modern country, while still retaining a sturdy foundation.
