This week’s #MCM goes to country’s bad boy Brantley Gilbert! Here are a few reasons why we love the “Stone Cold Sober” singer:
1. His bad boy side. Girls seem to flock to bad boys. Brass knuckle necklace, tattoos, piercings, motorcycles and all!
2. His ability to write so many amazing songs. In addition to hits on his own albums such as “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” and “One Hell Of An Amen,” Gilbert also co-wrote big songs for Jason Aldean (“Dirt Road Anthem,” “My Kinda Party”) as well as “Small Town Throwdown,” with Thomas Rhett and Justin Moore.
3. His charitable contributions. Gilbert has donated money for Toys for Tots, a Military based charity, as well as given tickets to Veterans and has been on motorcycle rides for Wounded Warrior Project.
And his work has not gone unnoticed. Last year Staff Sgt. Justin Patterson presented Gilbert with a Purple Heart that he was awarded during his service as a thank you for all he has done for our Veterans.
4. Through the bad boy facade, there lies this warm inviting smile and a man who is not afraid to admit his faults and face his demons. He’s also a quite the bit of a teddy bear.
5. Gilbert’s command of the stage is explosive: his shows are solid and he never disappoints his loyal BG Nation.
