Five Reasons Why We Love Faith Hill

Faith Hill, the Mississippi born sweetheart of country music has been gracing us with her presence since the early 90’s.  Her wholesome attitude, angelic voice, and warm smile are what drew people to her, amassing a loyal following and it’s clear to us why: she loves life, family, and everyone else.  What’s not to love about Faith, which is why she’s this weeks #WCW.

1. Her songs have placed her in a very prestigious category.  Since coming to Nashville, she has sold over 40 Million records worldwide, making her the most successful artist of all time.  Songs that listeners (both country and pop) could relate to include Wild One,” “This Kiss,” and “It Matters to Me  as well as few of the countless others have become staples that fans love to hear at her concerts.

2. Her family life with fellow country singer Tim McGraw and their three daughters is one that everyone would love to emulate.  Faith and Tim have been married for 20 years and have been the pinnacle of what most see as a solid marriage.  The pair, even though busy with their perspective careers, still find time in their schedules to devote to family time.  Tim once told Taste of Country that Faith is an excellent role model for his girls.  He said the way she lives and the way she treats people are strong lessons his girls can learn, also making her a role model for all her fans.

 3. She’ll protect her husband at any cost.  During one show, a fan groped Tim by grabbing him in his private area and Faith didn’t take kindly to that.  On a video, she’s seen chastising the fan by telling her that you can’t go around grabbing “someone’s husband’s b*lls” and that she was being disrespectful.

4. Keeping it in the family Faith has had duets with her husband, toured with him, and has donated time and money with him.  She’s just announced that her and Tim will embark on a 65 city tour, the first in decades.  The Soul2Soul Tour begins April 2017.

 5. Her charitable contributions are plenty.  She was the first ever recipient of the Sheltering Hand Award  for her work with the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes, built a birdhouse to be auctioned off for the W.O. Smith Music School to give free music lessons to low income families and has worked with UNICEF.  Her and her husband delivered truckloads of relief items to the Gulf area following Hurricane Katrina.  While there, she performed a charity tour, giving all proceeds to Neighbor’s Keeper Foundation a group the couple formed that helped victims of disasters.  If that’s not enough, she and Tim gave the Navy – Marine Relief Corp Society $375,000, the entire gate ticket sales from a concert to assist 17 sailors’ families following the terrorist attacks on the USS Cole.
