Brandon Ray Goes to the “Ends of the Earth” With New Single

When your resume consists of playing guitar for Chuck Wicks and Brett Eldredge and opening for Taylor Swift, Kip Moore, Jon Pardi, Martina McBride and Craig Morgan (just to name a few), it’s safe to say that Brandon Ray is no stranger to life on the road.  But with success comes sacrifice, as his growing career has kept this west-Texas native away from his beloved wife for periods of time much longer than desired. So when Ray came upon his new single “Ends of the Earth” – it hit home the moment he heard it.

Written by Ross Copperman (who also co-produced), Jon Nite and Nicolle Galyon, “Ends of the Earth” is a romantic promise to one’s love that no matter how far apart in time and space that they may be, nothing could ever come between them; she is the most important thing in his life and he will always be there for her. For Ray, the song tells his story:

Just to see you in the headlights, hear you laugh,
I’d cross oceans, valleys, mountains, every highway just like that
I’d go to the ends of the earth for you
To the moon and back like it ain’t nothing new
When I got my arms wrapped around you girl
It’s like I’m holding the whole wide world
You’re the closest thing to heaven this side of that sun setting
And I won’t stop till I’ve been to the ends of the earth for you

Ray’s background of growing up on rock and country are noted as the cross-genre song includes piano, guitar and drums.  The infectious beat of the chorus along with inviting “oohhs” and “woahs” make it impossible to not sing-along.

And if you think that “Ends of the Earth” may sound a bit Keith Urban-esque, you’re right.  Urban not only co-produced the song with Copperman, but also lent his guitar skills and vocals as well on the track (yes, that’s him singing back up).

“Ends of the Earth” is available on iTunes and Spotify.
