After seemingly underground for a time, probably quarantining like the rest of the world, country duo Brothers Osborne went online with a series of video posts on their social media pages starting with a premium upgrade, free to already paid members, then the cover of darkness picture with the words “Brothers Osborne ALL NIGHT” – cryptically detailing something was about to happen. Then subsequent posts of a live show and the same cryptic picture followed by a sound bite of the now released studio video for their lead single “All Night“ off an upcoming album following the heels of successes of Port Saint Joe and Live At The Ryman.
This high tempo number puts the band’s fan base on their feet and ready to party. Co-written by brothers John and T.J. Osborne and Andrew DeRoberts, “All Night” features John’s ever impressive guitar skills and T.J.’s smooth low register preaching the positive on partying with a partner:
I got the rebel if you got the tell (Hey)
I got the raisin’ if you got that hell
I got the zig, if you got the zag
Got that good life, hell of a time in a bag
John ignites into an insane guitar solo that leads into the bridge, where T.J.’s sexy vocals allude to an offer one shouldn’t refuse:
What good is a saint if ain’t got the sinner
What good is a life if you don’t get to lovin’
What good is the one if you ain’t got the other
Takes two to tango, let’s get this thing goin’
Releasing “All Night” as the first single off an upcoming album has raised the bar for the rest, which no doubt will be just as good. The groove is badass placing this in a definite party scenario! It will be one, however where social distancing will be thrown out the window. So stay safe and dance “all night”!
