Craig Campbell has been quite busy during the COVID-19 quarantine. The Georgia born country singer hadn’t released any new music since 2018 until this year, when he released “It’s About Time” in March. Two months later and he’s back with his rowdy and fun single “All My Friends Drink Beer.”
Released on May 8th, the tune was co-written by Campbell, Taylor Phillips and Kenton Bryant during a time where folks are at home, bound by a global pandemic. Uniquely, it’s the best time to release this boot stompin’ hand clappin’ party anthem. This rockin’ tune, with electric guitars and rhythmic drum beats, tells the tale of how any stranger who digs blue jean clad girls, pick up trucks, and a Friday night bar crowd, that he’s gonna fit right in:
All my friends drink beer on a Friday night
Stacking them cans, man, Georgia pine high
Raise hell with a dixie cup,
If you tip it on back, turn it on up
You can get your ass, you’re gonna fit right in round here
‘Cause All My friends drink beer
This tune is infectious, well produced, and is quite bad ass! With Campbell on vocals, and rebel rousing instrumentation, fans will feel that itch to get up, do a little stomping and clappin’, all while raising one for a toast. With concerts on the back burner, fans can pull a chair up and watch the “quarantine” video after it drops. The video is expected to feature Craig’s friends and fellow artists singing along and drinking beer from their prospective homes.
