In a time filled with uncertainty and craziness, Georgia born country singer Kip Moore has brightened the moods of his fans not only with the announcement of his fourth studio album Wild World due out May 29, but also with the release of its title track on Friday, March 27th.
Moore co-wrote 12 of Wild World’s 13 songs, including the title track with Josh Miller (“More Girls Like You”). The single, following hit maker “She’s Mine,” was one that developed from life lessons from his parents and creates a perfect picture of a youthful Moore attentively listening to a mama’s words of guidance:
Don’t put your faith in the green of a dollar
And be proud of the blue around your collar
Give a little more, take a little less
You ain’t done till you done your best
Where it on your sleeve instead of hidden in your chest, yeah
A message with cleverly written deep lyrics, along with subtle drum beats and the soulful vocals of Moore will take the listener deep into their own souls, perhaps reminiscent of similar life lessons.
Moore has always managed to put out truthful, meaningful tunes with finesse, and this one is the cream of the crop. With two singles out, fans will find it hard to wait for the end of May.
