Jason Aldean recently announced his eighth studio album, Rearview Town, and the lead-off single “You Make It Easy” has us all swaying in our boots. While fans might be accustomed to the high energy songs Aldean ordinarily releases, there will be no disappointment here.
Aldean is showing fans he has a romantic side that can’t be beat. He has found his other half: a woman who energizes him and makes him a better man. “You Make It Easy” lists out all the reasons why his world has been flipped upside down. And in a time where love can easily get lost, Aldean points out that true love is out there. She is the one who loves you unconditionally and keeps the sun shining in your life when it starts to get dark:
You took on my rough around the edges
Never let it ruffle up your feathers, angel
Yeah I’m down for life, you got me wrapped around your finger
“You Make it Easy” is a breathtaking and emotional ballad that exposes Aldean’s vulnerable side. The rhythm is impactful and clean, making the lyrics that more compelling while Aldean establishes the tone instantaneously with his stable and enduring vocals. A quintessential love song that is so unforeseen and yet remarkable, it would not be unexpected if “You Make It Easy” becomes a wedding song for first dances.
“You Make It Easy” is available where all digital media is sold. Pre-order Rearview Town (available April 13) by visiting https://store.jasonaldean.com/.
