The rich and smooth bass of Josh Tuner is a staple at country radio, with his chart-toppers such as “Your Man” and “Time Is Love” still penetrating the radio airwaves on various rotations. Simple and straight-forward, “Hometown Girl” is an appealing concept with an even more appealing sound. However Turner’s deep vocals, combined with his incredibly humble disposition, add an authentic quality that brings substance to the song – although happily married himself, one can feel the genuinely simple desire resonating within the lyrics:
