Country crooner Brett Eldredge has released the official music video for “The Long Way,” the second single from his recent self-titled studio album. Co-starring Duck Dynasty‘s southern belle Sadie Robertson, the romantic song’s cinematic video premiered exclusively on Esquire on Monday (10/16).
The single, beautifully written by Eldredge and Matt Rodgers, reflects on finding that one person and wanting to know everything there is to know about them, showing a more deeper emotional way to love. Fans have been anticipating the video’s release and have been inundating Eldredge with their approval.
Produced by Eldredge and Ross Copperman, the video is a masterful creation of scenes played out to every word to the song. Eldredge and Robertson’s chemistry is instant and infectious, and lends credibility of a young couple spending time together as the young lady brings her man on a stroll through her life.
The scenery in the Robertson’s fictional hometown takes you from streams, through wooded areas of fall foliage, to an convertible car ride as the couple constantly exchanges smiled glances at each other or embarks on long romantic embraces.
Proving to be just as romantic as the song, fans will agree that anxiously waiting for the video’s release was well worth it.
