Award-winning country artist Matt Rogers is dialing it back—but not holding anything back. His new acoustic EP Stripped, revealing a quieter, more intimate side of one of country’s most dynamic voices, is available everywhere now.
Best known for his powerhouse vocals and high-octane live shows, Matt steps into singer-songwriter territory with Stripped—a five-track collection that trades polish for grit and puts the songwriting front and center. The EP features four original tracks and a stripped-down cover of John Mayer’s I Don’t Trust Myself (With Loving You).
Stripped Tracklist:
1. Whiskey Don’t
2. Better at Heartbreak
3. Whatever Keeps You Crazy
4. Get You Off That Fence
5. I Don’t Trust Myself (With Loving You)
This release follows the national attention Matt received last month for “Camouflage,” a powerful standalone tribute to his late best friend. The single and accompanying benefit concert raised over $25,000 for the Brother’s Keeper Veteran Foundation. It was featured on CNN—amplifying a message about veteran suicide awareness that continues to be part of Matt’s mission.
“Stripped is a chance for me to connect one-on-one with listeners,” Matt says. “It’s honest, it’s acoustic, and it’s personal. I wanted people to really hear the stories. It’s hard to beat the excitement of being on stage with my band in front of a crowd of fans, but there’s also those singer/songwriter shows where I feel like I can really connect in a more intimate setting. Stripped is a broken-down, acoustic EP that does just that. It includes four songs I’ve written as well as one of my favorite covers by John Mayer. I can’t wait to share it with y’all.”
Stripped is available for streaming on Apple Music and Spotify.
